Big Pimpin

Here I'am inside the yacht like Jay-Z in the "Big Pimpin" video, but I'm not surrounded by hoardes of women. I sat down and enjoyed life while watching the big screen TV.

On A Yacht

Here I'm at a casino resort in Vegas. They had a yacht (although I don't ever recall Vegas on the Pacific coast). I wanted to fly the helicopter, but I needed to pay money. This is just like real life.

Joyriding?

I tried stealing this nice lamborgini, but I couldnt. They were for sale, but I had to pay a ridiculous amount of money for them.
· In World vs. Real World: How is the virtual society different than our real world society?
o The virtual society is different than our real world society because the virtual society you cannot feel anything or smell the flowers or smell anything for that matter. You are just an avatar of yourself running around all over the world seeing different things all the time. You can do things in the virtual world that you might not be able to do in the real world such as jump on the back of a whale and ride it around the ocean or even go inside a cell.
· How was your group meeting in world different, better or worse than the meeting in Blackboard Vista's chat groups that your instructors set up for this course?
Our group was unable to meet in the virtual world so we don’t have anything to really compare our chat meetings too. We had technical difficulties such as some of us were unable to access second life at home. Even at school there was some difficulty logging on because of the wireless network in the computer lab was not working properly.
· How can virtual worlds like Second Life enhance the teaching and learning experiences for students?
There are some educational resources in second life such as the cell that people are able to get inside. You can also hold conferences and meetings in second life which could facilitate teaching and learning experiences. There are also many other educational resources on second life because you can go basically anywhere. In class, we went to the site that had the example of what you would experience if you had a mental disorder. That could be an example of an educational resource if you were a psychology major.
· What are the implications for the arts and society?
One example of how it affects society is the article we were given to read. A husband and wife married in real life and in the virtual world are now divorced because the husband was cheating on the wife in the virtual world. Cheating could increase because of this virtual world along with many other things. People could also meet other friends from around the world here which could be positive or even negative. As far as the implications on art, for example, the Sistine Chapel people are now able to see the artwork created without even leaving their homes. It could also increase the probability of your artwork being seen and maybe making you famous!!!!!

Bootylicisouz Club...

Ok well I decided to spend my last day in Second Life in a club called "booty JAMZ" and let me tell you... I think people were getting shot around me. I was the only business looking women doing my thing on the dance floor. Everyone I passed had a gun in their waste. I was a little nervous. I chose this place because I wanted to find some other avatars. Every place I visited I couldn't find anyone. I wasn't looking to make friends but see what people actually did on Second Life. Wow what a different world.

Cruise in VEGAS....

I wanted to do some gambling in Las Vegas but ended up on a boat relaxing in the hot tub. I still had my wine from Ireland so I am just walking around drinking it everywhere I go! I did fall off the ship to the bottom but managed to get myself back together.. damn wine!

Ireland....

This is me bartending in Ireland!! Too bad I didn't have any customers. I made myself at home and started drinking myself. What's an Irish Pub without the booze???
